Leased Line: A communications medium described as a dedicated telephone line reserved for the permanent use of communicating between two points.
Link: A data communication circuit provided by a common carrier, including communications equipment at each Node, which provides a single interface to the STAR Network. A multiplexed circuit can provide multiple Links.
