FRANKFURT, Feb. 25, 2010 – TeleCash GmbH & Co. KG, a First Data company and one of the leading network service providers (NSP) for the processing of card payments in Germany, today announced it has introduced a new terminal solution. For a low monthly fee, merchants can offer customers the convenience and security of cashless payments such as electronic cash debit card payments.

TeleCash’s new solution, SimplyCash, offers merchants an economical alternative to standard terminal agreements that often require a long-term contract and contain high, fixed investment costs. With SimplyCash, no long-term contracts have to be signed. SimplyCash is best suited for merchants that are new to accepting electronic payments. It offers a variety of features for merchants that want to offer their customers the convenience of cashless payments.

The solution comprises of a fixed terminal device with an integrated PIN pad for which the merchant does not have to pay any purchase or rental fees. The device is plug and play-enabled, so it can be deployed directly by the merchant quickly and without any installation costs. The only cost to the merchant is a minimum €9.90 in monthly transaction fees.
