Innovative service, that enables merchants to outsource checkout-system and terminal technology, voted winner in handelsjournal’s Top Retail Product 2011 contest.
BAD VILBEL, Feb. 15, 2011 – TeleCash GmbH & Co. KG, a First Data company and one of Germany's leading network service providers, has been awarded a prestigious Gold award in handelsjournal's Top Retail Product 2011 contest. managedIQ triumphed in the Payment Management category after being one of three shortlisted products put to the public vote in the contest.
managedIQ allows companies to outsource complex payment operations, previously processed within the terminal or checkout system, to a fault-resistant server at TeleCash's data center. Time-consuming software downloads and equipment configurations are a thing of the past and appliances can now be modernized and upgraded to state-of-the-art specifications with minimal effort. Benefits for retailers using the system include reduced hardware investment and IT training requirements and the ability to respond more quickly and flexibly to new market conditions.

managedIQ received public recognition as early as spring 2010 when, under the working title 'Managed Payment Service', industry convention delegates were introduced to the new concept by Germany's Central Credit Committee (ZKA). The ZKA called it the "terminal architecture of the future" and has since approved two payment terminals for usage with managedIQ: the Ingenico i3380 and i5300.
The mobile terminal, V670 GRPS, which is produced by CCV Deutschland GmbH and used by a large number of TeleCash customers, was also awarded a Gold distinction by handlesjournal in the Sales Promotion category.
TeleCash will present both of these Gold Award-winning products at its booth at the EuroShop 2011 trade fair in Düsseldorf(Hall 6, Booth 6H27), taking place from February 26 to March 2, 2011. Also of interest to retailers will be TeleCash's German-language lecture '2011 – Radical Change in the Automated Payments Industry', to be held in the framework of the EuroCIS Exhibitors' Forum on Feb. 28, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Hall 6, Booth 6I43.

In 2011, handlesjournal business magazine polled readers for the third time on proven and innovative products from the supplier and capital goods industries. All of the candidates had one thing in common; they boost retail industry competitiveness.
