New contract includes the implementation of a state-of-the-art fraud monitoring system in the second half of 2012

WARSAW, July 10, 2012 – First Data Corporation, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, today announced that it has extended its processing services agreement with Getin Noble Bank, a leading Polish bank, until 2018.

First Data currently issues cards on behalf of Getin Noble Bank in Poland and provides card management as well as authorisation and transaction settlement services. The two organisations have worked together since 2000.

The new agreement additionally extends the scope of services provided by First Data to include Proactive Risk Manager, a fraud discovery and notification system which has been designed to meet banks’ growing demand for anti-fraud solutions. Proactive Risk Manager will enable Getin Noble Bank to provide enhanced security to its cardholders.
