David R. Money serves as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for First Data. In this position, he oversees legal, corporate compliance, internal audit and corporate security, and has administrative oversight of the company's risk control and audit function. Before becoming general counsel, Money served as deputy general counsel. During the preceding 13 years, he filled a series of positions with increasing levels of responsibility in the legal departments of First Data and its predecessors.

Prior to joining First Data, Money was a partner in the law firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook and McDonough in Salt Lake City for eight years. He is a member of the Colorado and Utah State Bar Associations. Money attended the University of Oregon School of Law and was awarded a bachelor's degree in science, master's degree in business administration and juris doctor degree from the University of Utah.
