First Data to provide payment card processing for stores across Poland

Warsaw, September 22, 2010 – First Data Corporation , a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing and owner of Polcard, a leading merchant acquirer in Poland, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Top Secret and Troll, two of the most respected clothing brands in Poland and part of the Redan S.A. group. Under the terms of the agreement First Data will implement 182 card acceptance devices at the retailers' stores across Poland.

The terminals being installed in Top Secret and Troll stores are equipped with dynamic currency conversion (DCC) functionality which gives cardholders the option to pay for goods and services in their home currency. DCC provides convenience for tourists and business travellers who can see immediately how much their foreign transactions cost in a familiar currency, without having to wait for their monthly statement to find out.
