London, October 13, 2010 – First Data Corporation , a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, today announced that it has successfully deployed FirstOnline, an internet-based account servicing solution, for its UK client Vanquis Bank, a subsidiary of Provident Financial. The roll out of this new service follows Vanquis’ decision to extend its long-standing processing agreement with First Data and migrate its card portfolios to FirstVision TM , First Data’s strategic outsourced processing solution.
Vanquis is the latest client to use FirstOnline, one of several value added services offered by First Data as part of its comprehensive processing offering. The integrated front and back-office solution is provided through First Data’s relationship with Intelligent Environments (IE), a leading software provider. FirstOnline enables Vanquis’ customers to manage their card accounts online. It also provides Vanquis with added marketing flexibility, allowing them to easily change the look and feel of the pages through the built-in content management tool.
