First Data Names Heidi Miller to Board of Directors

Strategic Addition to Board Adds Depth, Expertise
ATLANTA, April 16, 2014 – First Data Chairman and CEO Frank Bisignano today announced that Heidi G. Miller has joined the First Data Board of Directors, effective April 14, 2014. A well- accomplished senior executive in the financial services industry, Miller’s addition brings the total number of board members to seven.

She brings with her incredible knowledge and experience in the global financial services industry, and her deep expertise and cultural awareness will be of great value to First Data as we transform the company and drive growth in our business around the world,” said Bisignano.
Prior to retiring in 2012, Miller was president of JPMorgan International, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Before that she served as CEO of JPMorgan Chase’s Treasury and Security Services, leading 35,000 people in 50 countries. Miller also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Bank One Corporation. She has held other CFO positions including at the Travelers Group and later at Citigroup.
Miller has an extensive background leading diverse companies and organizations. She has been a director for General Mills Inc. since 1999, and has served as a director of Progressive Corp. since 2011. She is a trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation, and is a director for Conservation International. She also serves as trustee at Princeton University.

Kravis, director for First Data and co-founder of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR). First Data was acquired by an affiliate of KKR and became a private company in 2007.
Miller was featured in American Banker's Most Powerful Women ranking from 2003-2010 and was No. 1 on the banking list from 2007-2009. In 2008, she topped Crain's list of the “50 Most Powerful Women in New York”.
Miller was graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in history and completed her doctorate in history at Yale University in 1979.
