• How does Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) work?
  • For applicable transactions, Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) will be offered to your customers. The cardholder/customer will be presented with a choice for payment in GBP or the cardholder currency e.g. a US customer will have a choice of GBP or US Dollar, while a French customer will have a choice of GBP or Euro.

  • Does my Business receive any commission for having DCC enabled on my Clover Device?
  • If the customer chooses to pay in their own currency, you will earn a fixed percentage (e.g. 1% of the original transaction amount) in DCC commission.

  • Who pays my Business the DCC commission?
  • Commission earned from transactions where your customer chooses to accept the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) offer will be paid monthly by your DCC provider, FEXCO.

  • When does my Business receive the DCC Commission?
  • DCC Commission payments are made on/around the 15th of each calendar month.
  • DCC Commission payment will appear on your bank statement with the following line reference: “FEXCODCC COMM”

  • Is the Commission included in the transaction amount that shows on my statement?
  • DCC Commission payment is distinct from transaction settlement.
