Michael Neborak is executive vice president, head of the EMEA region for First Data. Prior to assuming this role in 2016, Michael served as executive vice president and director of finance for First Data, bringing with him a distinguished record of leadership in the financial services sector. Based in London, Michael reports to Chairman and CEO Frank Bisignano and is a member of the Management Committee, strengthening the leadership team with his broad financial and global experience.

Michael leads the strategy for First Data’s EMEA region, where the company has operations in 20 countries and serves clients across 66 countries throughout the region. First Data is a leading payments technology company in EMEA and provides next-generation commerce-enabling solutions to businesses and financial institutions of all sizes.

Michael joined First Data from Willis Group Holdings, where he served as chief financial officer from 2010 to 2014. At Willis, the world’s third largest insurance broker with 18,000 employees, Michael and his team managed the company’s financial operations in 140 countries around the world, implemented a new global financial system, and refinanced the company’s capital structure, among many other accomplishments.

Prior to joining Willis in 2010, Michael was CFO for MSCI Inc., a leading provider of investment decision-support tools for institutional investors, a company he helped take public in 2007. Earlier in his career, Michael served in roles of increasing responsibility within business units of Citigroup and its predecessors. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
