Mike Neborak joined First Data as executive vice president and director of finance, bringing with him a distinguished record of leadership in the financial services sector. Mike reports to Chairman and CEO Frank Bisignano and is a member of the Management Committee, strengthening the leadership team with his broad financial and global experience.
In this important role, Mike serves as the company’s principal financial officer and oversees financial reporting, corporate treasury, tax and accounting functions, and deploys the various tools of finance to help First Data build on its many accomplishments while maintaining expense discipline and further strengthening the balance sheet.
Mike joined First Data from Willis Group Holdings, where he served as chief financial officer from 2010. At Willis, the world’s third largest insurance broker with 18,000 employees, Mike and his team managed the books of the company’s operations in 140 countries around the world, implemented a new global financial system and refinanced the company’s capital structure, among many other accomplishments.
Prior to joining Willis in 2010, Mike was CFO for MSCI Inc., a leading provider of investment decision-support tools for institutional investors, a company he helped take public in 2007. Earlier in his career, Mike served in roles of increasing responsibility within business units of Citigroup and its predecessors from 1982 to 2006. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
